Born and raised in Luxembourg.

2003
Graduated from the Athénée de Luxembourg secondary school with a specialization in fine arts.

2003-2010
Briefly attended the Munich University of Applied Sciences' Architecture department in 2004 and graduated as Dipl. Ing. in Architecture from the Technical University of Munich in 2010, studying under Prof. Victor López Cotelo.

2008-2009
Worked for the architecture office AmP arquitectos in Santa Cruz, Tenerife.

2010-2014
Started his career as an employee, later worked as a project manager at Valentiny hvp architects. Became a partner at the same company in 2012.

2015
Founded "Paul Mathey Architecture & Design S.à r.l." studio.

At the same time: independent painter and sculptor in Luxembourg.
